Author Visit with Hayley Diep
Collins Elementary and Books Inc. present local author, teacher, and bike enthusiast Hayley Diep to share their books with TK-3rd grade classes!
Hayley Diep is a writer and teacher based in the San Francisco Bay Area. When she isn't doing either, you can usually find her reading a book or exploring the outdoors with her family and friends. She is the author of If You Give a Girl a Bike and Rising Strong: The Wateru Wat Misaka Story
In March Mrs. Sharma read a book titled If You Give a Girl a Bike by Hayley Diep to the 1st and 2nd graders. This is a very inspirational book written by a former CUSD teacher about getting girls to participate in different sports. The students loved it and many asked about the author. Ms. Diep has recently written another book titled Rising Above: the Wataru “Wat” Misaka Story, a biography about NBA star Wataru Misaka.
You can find more information at her website: https://hayleydiep.com/
If you would like to purchase an autographed copy of her books, submit an online order by Tuesday, May 21 via the Books Inc site. https://www.booksinc.net/books-inc-and-collins-elementary-present-hayley-diep
