DIRECT DONATION CAMPAIGN
Collins PTA's Direct Donation Campaign raises funds needed to run and maintain key programs and instruction to benefit Collins students. We provide funding for school events and after-school programs that are not supported through the California State School Funds program.
Art and Music are integral parts of a student's well-rounded education. Due to the budget shortages in California, the Cupertino Union School District is only able to fund PE and Music for grades 4 and 5. A sizable portion of the direct donations received is spent to fund the music and PE programs for grades TK to 3 as well as the art program for all students.
PTA uses the funds collected from direct donations to sponsor key programs during school hours. Here is a list of some of those programs:
Art classes for all students
PE classes for grades TK to 3 and lunch time sports for all students
Library hours from 9am to 1pm on school days
Field trips and transportation
Enrichment assemblies for all students on topics such as history, animals, safety, arts, and more.
Supplement classroom supplies for entire school.
Science Camp and transportation expenses for upper grades.
Up-to-date supplies for school emergency preparedness.
Special events such as Movie Nights, the Winter Celebration, the Walkathon, and so many others!
PTA also sponsors extracurricular programs for Collins students, such as:
Running Club
Sports equipment and apparel for Collins after-school sports
We also work with school administration and teachers as needs arise to help fund various areas of technology, arts, sports, health and welfare, etc.

GOAL: Our Direct Donation goal is $120,000. Help us meet our goal this year so that all students can benefit!
Please fill out the Direct Donation Form and attach your donation. Printed Direct Donation Forms are available at the PTA table located in the front office. Return forms to the black box on the PTA table.
The suggested donation amount is $350.00 per student, however any amount you wish to donate is greatly appreciated. Your contributions are confidential. If you wish to receive a receipt for your records, please contact us.
