Reflections is a great chance for students to express themselves artistically! The works are judged by their creativity, originality and mastery of media, but most importantly on interpretation of theme.
Participation in the Reflections Program is organized by school grade. Student works are critiqued against others in the same grade division. This allows recognition and judging of artwork by appropriate developmental age and skill levels. The grade divisions are as follows:
Primary – Transitional Kindergarten/Pre-K – Grade 2
Intermediate – Grades 3-5
Accessible Arts - All grades welcome *
*Students who identify as having a disability and may receive services under IDEA or ADA: Section 504 may enter in the Accessible Arts Division or grade division most closely aligned to their functional abilities.
Participants must follow the requirements of the Official Rules and the additional requirements for each category. Each entry must be accompanied by a completed Entry Form. A consent form, signed by a parent or guardian may be required for some categories.
