We are parent volunteers collaborating with Collins staff to enhance and enrich the experience of our students. We support music, art, PE, and library programs, as well as organize assemblies and social events throughout the school year. Be a part of the PTA!

Collins PTA Color Run
Save the date! March 21 is our Collins PTA Color Run! The Collins PTA Color Run is our PTA’s walkathon fundraiser. You received Collins PTA Color Run informational slides and a food preorder form with your student. Please check their folders/backpacks for this important information. You may have received an email this afternoon from 99Pledges / Collins PTA Color Run. This gives you your student’s personalized pledge page. You can share this with family and friends to help get pledges!
* If you did not receive an email, we have not yet received your PTA Disclosure form - please return this ASAP to the Collins PTA box in the office. We need both the Waiver and Disclosure forms for participation in our event. You can download and print the forms from our website https://www.collinspta.org/fundraisers/color-run.
All students will participate during their class time for 30 minutes during the school day on March 21. To participate after school, students must be accompanied by their parent/guardian and have PTA Disclosure and Waiver forms submitted with a minimum of $40 in pledges.
In order to make this event a success, we will need many volunteers! Middle school or high school students seeking volunteer hours may also sign up for a shift or two. Cleared (TB, Fingerprinting) volunteers only during the school day from 8:30-3:05pm, but all are welcome before and after school! Please sign up online at https://tinyurl.com/ColorRunVolunteer2025.

Approved Volunteers Needed!
Please mark your calendars for Friday, March 21, 2025 (updated date)! We will be hosting our annual Collins Color Run / Walkathon.
We will need approved volunteers throughout the school day as well as after school.

Collins PTA Membership Contest
Congratulations to Rooms 6, 10, 15, 22, and 27 for winning our PTA Membership Contest! Mrs. Taormina will coordinate with your teachers to redeem your extra recess prize.
Did you know that spouses, children, and friends can be members too?
Each Collins PTA membership is only $10.
You can join our Collins PTA at any time.
Look for the YELLOW form sent home with the Welcome Packets the first week of school.

Direct Donations
Our biggest fund raising is from our direct donations campaign. From the generosity of families like yours, we are able to fund so many activities and programs for our students!
Collins Elementary PTA suggests a donation of $350* per student. You may donate above the suggested amount, and any amount given greatly helps our students and school.
We have a fundraising goal of $120,000 for the year. Please help us reach our fundraising goal!
All donations are tax deductible. Non-profit Tax ID 77-0034798 - 100% of your donation to Collins PTA stays at Collins to benefit your child.
