School Supplies Lists

Standard Size Backpack

Students will keep a change of clothing and a folder in their backpack. Please purchase a backpack large enough to fit these items. The standard size backpack allows for independence and decreases frustration that occurs with a smaller size backpack.  Please label your child’s backpack.

Classroom Supplies:

• Dixon Ticonderoga #2 wooden pencils (1 dozen, sharpened preferred) 

• Crayola crayons (4 boxes, 24 count)

• Crayola broad tip “CLASSIC” markers (1 box of 10 markers)

• Elmer’s white liquid school glue (4oz bottle)

• Elmer’s glue sticks (24 small glue sticks)

• Kleenex (2 large boxes)

• Clorox Disinfecting Wipes (2 canisters)

• Baby wipes (2 packages, unscented)

• Ziploc bags (quart and sandwich)

• Dove antibacterial hand soap (2 bottles w/ pump)

• Purell hand sanitizer (2 bottles w/ pump)

• Mr. Clean Magic Eraser

• 2 dozen DIXON TICONDEROGA #2 wooden pencils (sharpened)

• 1 box Crayola broad tip “Assorted” Colors (10 or 12 pack)

• 1 box Crayola broad tip “Bright” Colors markers (10 or 12 pack)

• 4 boxes of new Crayola crayons (24 count) regular crayons only, (box usually says “preferred by teachers”). It is outlined in red with a red crayon pictured on top (not washables)

• 1 pair Fiskars blunt tip 5" "For Kids" scissors 

• 2 large white vinyl latex free erasers

• 1 bottle Elmer's washable school glue (4 oz)

• 30 small Elmer’s glue sticks “disappearing purple”    

•  1 Prang watercolor set, washable, 8 colors with brush

• 1 large box of quality Kleenex  

• 2 bottles of Purell hand sanitizer gel (w/ pump)

• 1 bottle of Softsoap

• 1 pack baby wipes

• 1 box gallon sized Glad storage bags with Zipper

• 1 box Glad storage bags, Quart, zipper

Look for Back-to-School sales. Several items can be purchased for $1.00 or less! (Target or Wal-Mart). 

Please buy brand names when specified, if possible. DO NOT purchase ROSEART BRAND school supplies.  Please send your child’s supplies during the first week of school

To Parents of Incoming First Grade Students:

In the fall of each year, teachers generally ask parents to donate supplies. Parents have requested that these lists be sent out now so that supplies can be purchased during August when many of the stores have special Back-to-School sales. As always, the school will provide the necessary supplies when families are unable to donate them. These items may be brought to the child’s teacher during the first week of school.

The first day of school is Thursday, August 15.  See you then.  Have a wonderful summer!

First Grade Supply List  (this list matches the school kit order list)

• 2 large white vinyl latex free erasers

• 1 pair scissors (5", blunt tip)

• 1 bottle Elmer’s school glue (4 oz, white, washable)

• 15 large Elmer's glue sticks (.77 oz, purple, dries clear, washable, No Rose Art)

• 1 Prang watercolor set, washable, 8 colors with brush

• 2 dozen #2 Ticonderoga pencils (sharpened)

• 1 box BROAD Line, CRAYOLA markers (10 classic colors)                   

• 1 box FINE Line, CRAYOLA markers (10 classic colors)              

• 1 Crayola crayons – 24 pack  (No Rose Art) **

• 1 small pencil box (~5"x8"x2" plastic box only) (no zippers or pencil pouch)

• 1 bottle hand soap (w/ pump)

• 1 bottle Purell hand sanitizer (4 oz)

• 1 box Kleenex (large)  

• 4 canisters "Wet Ones" antibacterial wipes (40 ct)

• 2 containers of baby wipes

• 1 ruler, 12" Wood, Inch and CM

• 4 Papermate "Magic Rub" vinyl erasers (large)

• 2 single subject 5 star, wide-ruled spiral notebook (w/ pockets, perforated, poly cover, Example: Mead 5 Star)

• 2 boxes Kleenex (large)

• 2 containers Clorox wipes

• 2 container baby wipes

• 2 bottles Purell Hand Sanitizer (8 oz, w/ pump)

• 1 box of sandwich-sized storage bags

• 3 boxes of gallon-sized storage bags

Please send your child's supplies in a bag that is clearly marked with his/ her name.

In the fall of each year, teachers generally ask parents to donate supplies. Parents have requested that these lists be sent out now so that supplies can be purchased during August when many of the stores have special Back-to-School sales. As always, the school will provide the necessary supplies when families are unable to donate them.

The supply list below matches the school kit list so if your family ordered a kit, you will have these supplies.   Please see the very bottom of the list for a few additional requested items that are not part of the supply kit order. 

• 1 heavy duty BLACK folder (plastic or poly)

• 2 pocket folders, blue and red (paper or plastic)

• 1 plastic pencil box (~8"x5"x2")

• 2 single-subject, wide ruled spiral notebooks (2 different colors) with pockets and tear- away pages (e.g. Mead Five Star)

• 2 dozen #2 Ticonderoga sharpened pencils

• 1 good quality pencil and crayon sharpener w/lid

• 1 box of 24 Crayola crayons

• 1 box of 10 Crayola washable classic colors thin markers

• 4 highlighters: green, yellow, pink (or red if available), and blue

• 2 white vinyl erasers

• 2 large glue sticks (.77 oz, washable)

• 1 pair student size 5" scissors, metal pointed tip

• 1-12 inch/cm ruler (not bendable)

• 1 container of baby wipes, unscented

• 1 bottle of hand sanitizer (8 oz, w/ pump)

• 1 box facial tissue (large)

Additional items (not included in the supply kit order but requested)

- 1 heavy duty two-pocket folders, not the kind with fasteners (any style, for Friday folder)

- Headphones or earbuds with a microphone

• 1 144 ct. 2-ply tissues - Kleenex

• 3 highlighters (3 different colors) 

• 2-pocket plastic folders (5 folders, any assorted colors)

• 1 spiral wide-ruled notebook (with perforated pages)
